Were you or a loved one seriously injured or killed in a Semi-Truck crash?
FORT WORTH, Texas – John David Hart of the Law Offices of John David Hart in Fort Worth has filed suit on behalf of the family of a husband and father of four who was killed in an eighteen-wheel truck crash on January 22, 2010 near Amarillo, Texas.
Mr. Huynh was driving his Honda Passport westbound on Interstate 40 just outside of Groom, Texas. According to the Department of Public Safety crash report, he had pulled off the road and parked his vehicle on the shoulder of Interstate 40 after his car began having mechanical trouble. A tractor-trailer owned and operated by Kuldip Pahal was also traveling westbound on Interstate 40. The truck veered off of the roadway and struck Mr. Huynh’s Passport. Mr. Huynh was killed in the collision.
The widow and four adult children of Mr. Huynh have filed suit in the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas, Amarillo Division against Kuldip Pahal, the driver of the tractor-trailer and his trucking company, Big Jhanny Trucking Company. According to the DPS crash report, Mr. Pahal was charged with criminally negligent homicide.
“Truck drivers have a fundamental safety responsibility to maintain control of their tractor-trailer rigs,” said attorney John David Hart of the Law Offices of John David Hart in Fort Worth. Attorney Hart continues, “Tragically, unsafe truck operations and unsafe truck driving have needlessly caused Mr. Huynh’s death.”
