DEPUY ASR JOINT STATUS CONFERENCE HELD
A joint status conference was held today in New Jersey by Judge David Katz who is presiding over the consolidated federal court MDL No. 1:10-md-02197 as established pursuant to 28 U.S.C. § 1407 and Judge Brian Martinotti who is presiding over the New Jersey consolidated state court litigation involving the DePuy ASR hip implants.
MULTIDISTRICT LITIGATION REGARDING DEPUY PINNACLE ASSIGNED TO NORTHERN DISTRICT OF TEXAS
The United States Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation today ordered “coordinated or consolidated” pretrial proceedings for cases filed in federal courts regarding the DePuy Pinnacle Acetabular Cup System. The Panel assigned the cases to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Texas before Judge James E. Kinkeade.
